JayFamTrips is a private trip planning application for family groups. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of JayFamTrips operated by Ed Jay. By using JayFamTrips, you agree to these Terms. Because JayFamTrips is a private, invitation-only application, these Terms are intentionally simple — we just want everyone to use the app respectfully.
JayFamTrips is available by invitation only. Access requires an administrator to invite you or approve your registration. By using the service, you confirm that you have been invited or approved, the information you provide is accurate, and you are using JayFamTrips for personal family trip planning. Administrators may revoke access at any time.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your login — each person should have their own account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at edmondjay@gmail.com promptly. You may update your profile or request account deletion at any time.
JayFamTrips is designed for collaborative family trip planning. We ask that you use it in that spirit:
We are not looking to enforce an exhaustive list of rules. Common sense and mutual respect go a long way. Administrators can remove content or revoke access if something is genuinely problematic.
You own the content you add to JayFamTrips. By adding content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to other trip members for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the app. You are responsible for any content you add.
JayFamTrips optionally integrates with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar. These integrations are optional and can be disconnected at any time from Settings. Use of Google Calendar is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. JayFamTrips's use of Google API data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Weather data is provided by OpenWeatherMap — we are not responsible for its accuracy.
Your use of JayFamTrips is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the service, you agree to our data practices as described there.
JayFamTrips is a personal project provided to family members at no charge. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running, but cannot guarantee the service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, missed plans, or other issues arising from use of the service. We hope it makes your trips more enjoyable.
We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of JayFamTrips at any time. We may also update these Terms — the "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the in-app notification system. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
